Bonacquisti Winery Fund Raiser
5 pm – 7pm
Wednesday, February 28, 2018
4640 Pecos St, Unit I, Denver CO 80211
Come enjoy wine, food and great jazz to support our bright, hard-working students who are the “seeds” to lead the new country of South Sudan. SoSS raises funds to rescue South Sudanese orphans from the crowded Kakuma Refugee Camp and educate them in boarding schools in Kenya. Seeds of South Sudan is now educating 75 elementary through college students.
We urgently need to raise funds to purchase Home Base where the scholars live three months a year when school is not in session. We only have until June to purchase the home. These former orphans have become a family where older students look after the younger children.
What You Can Expect: A evening of great jazz from the Jazz Hands Foundation Band featuring Tom Capek on keyboards, Dave Erickson on guitar, Rick Brough on bass, and Brian Counterman on sax. Their clean jazz and blues is sure to delight. Your first glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres are covered with the admission price. Additional drinks will be at your own expense.
Cost: $40. Payable at the door.

Please join the Seeds of South Sudan Board of Directors in welcoming our founder, Arok Garang, back from his recent voyage home to South Sudan. This will be a great opportunity to hear directly from Arok about his trip and the progress made with the Home Base Compound. He will also update us on all of the ways the amazing SOSS students have been learning and growing.
All current donors will have a chance to pick up one of our new SOSS reusable shopping bags, so they can show their support and spread the word everywhere they go!
We will be gathering in the McCollum room at Montview Presbyterian Church.
Join the Board of Seeds of South Sudan in unwinding after a long day’s work with an evening of delicious wine and cheese, along with entertainment by Denver accordianist Gregory Curtice. Enjoy your first glass of wine with your $25 donation, and check out the winery’s additional menu of delectable nibbles available for purchase. (http://wewdenver.com/
